This client is honestly my absolute favorite, she always takes such good care of me and tips so well every single time. I felt so bad for accidentally startling her today though, she definitely wasn’t expecting me to pop up like that. The whole interaction caught me off guard, especially when she casually mentioned something about her “bush” like I was supposed to understand immediately. Now I’m just sitting here replaying it in my head, trying to figure out what she even meant by that. Either way, still love her… just maybe with a little confusion now.

I noticed this really cute girl at my local ice-skating rink and it looked like she was having a bit of trouble staying on her feet.
I didn’t want to bother her while she was concentrating, so just kept skating and watching from a distance.
When she finally took a little tumble, that felt like my chance to go over and say hi and make sure she was okay.
Now I’m wondering... do you guys think that counts as a smooth introduction, or was she just being nice back?

The hardest part about having roommates is definitely learning how to respect each other’s space and noise levels. There were way too many moments where we’d accidentally walk in on each other and completely ruin… let’s just say, special moments. It was awkward for everyone, but we finally found a method that actually fixed the issue. If you have more than three roommates, I highly recommend figuring something like this out—it’ll save you all a lot of stress.

For some reason, I move through my house better in complete darkness than I ever do in broad daylight. The second the lights are off, I’m gliding around like I’ve got some kind of secret night vision, but let the sun come out and suddenly I’m bumping into everything in sight. Most of my mystery bruises don’t come from the middle of the night, they come from walking around my own house at noon like I’ve never been there before. I genuinely don’t know how that makes any sense, but at this point I might just function better in the dark.

I’m not exactly sure where she got that cream from, because she definitely wasn’t holding any milk. I didn’t ask too many questions, but it caught me off guard for a second. Somehow though, the coffee ended up tasting amazing. Maybe it’s one of those things you just don’t overthink. Either way, I’m not complaining.

Sometimes I like to learn new recipes and explore cuisines I’ve never cooked before—it’s kind of my little creative escape. That’s honestly why I prefer cooking alone, because the second he joins me, it turns into chaos and I can’t focus on what I’m actually trying to make. We end up getting into all kinds of shenanigans instead of following the recipe. But I guess it does keep things playful… maybe I should lighten up a little.

I’m honestly just glad to finally be done with all of this. She grabbed the last of her stuff, and now I never have to worry about her again. I can’t even lie though… watching her struggle one last time was somehow the funniest part of being with her. Kind of wild how that ended up being the most memorable part.

The saleswoman who came to my door clearly has no understanding of professionalism. I heard the doorbell go off and, like usual, I checked the little screen from the doorbell camera to see who it was before deciding if it was worth opening the door. I normally don’t even answer for salespeople, but what she was doing out there made me stop and watch for a second. The craziest part is that the doorbell camera is literally right there in plain sight, and she either didn’t notice it or didn’t care that she could be recorded the entire time.

At that point I felt like it was almost my duty to open the door and let her know that when you’re standing on someone else’s property, you should probably assume you’re being watched. It’s 2026, almost every house has a camera now. Whoever this girl works for might want to give her a pretty stern talking-to, because that level of awareness is definitely not helping the company’s reputation.
