In discussion with my clients, I've discovered that, like me, almost every creative person intensely dislikes marketing. It just makes us feel uncomfortable.

But not all marketing is made equal, and there are ways to go about communicating with your listeners where you get to give value first. That way, you dont have to put your integrity on the line.

What does ethical marketing mean to you?

In today's online music industry, content creation is just part of the job. But there are worlds of difference between types of content you can create, and how you can present it so it lands in the hearts of your listeners in a way that feels genuine.

Podcasting is where it's at! Your people can and will find you there in the safe haven you've personally created. They're listening because they love what you do and they want to be there. They want to know your story and be a part of your journey.

I'd say that feels much more worthwhile as an investment of your precious time.

Hi Folks,

The energy of autumn has got me feeling all expansive and like creating a shiny new business element.

I'm currently learning all about Podcast Management and I am loving every bit of it. From production to editing, hosting and more, I'll soon be able to co-create a podcast from scratch with my clients, and run it remotely on their behalf.

The idea of this is so exciting to me it's crazy!!

I absolutely adore podcasts, and as a home-studio music-maker, the audio editing part feels like a very natural progression.

I can't wait to support other creative women in business by helping them expand their client reach. That which only podcasting offers.

As a VA I've had my first clients for just about 2 weeks now. They're brilliant and they've given me the space in which to learn and grow rapidly. Now I feel it's time to shout from the rooftops, "I love being a freelance Writer and Virtual Assistant." Feels like I've found my happy place.
