In discussion with my clients, I've discovered that, like me, almost every creative person intensely dislikes marketing. It just makes us feel uncomfortable.

But not all marketing is made equal, and there are ways to go about communicating with your listeners where you get to give value first. That way, you dont have to put your integrity on the line.

In today's online music industry, content creation is just part of the job. But there are worlds of difference between types of content you can create, and how you can present it so it lands in the hearts of your listeners in a way that feels genuine.

Podcasting is where it's at! Your people can and will find you there in the safe haven you've personally created. They're listening because they love what you do and they want to be there. They want to know your story and be a part of your journey.

I'd say that feels much more worthwhile as an investment of your precious time.
