I’m back at Nae Just Spuds for the second time and yet again they done an amazing job, I thought I’d get a close up of our food being prepared by the lovely Kelly. She’s a speedy worker wizzing about the shop making our lunch. Food was delicious as always! Definitely recommend the mince and skirlie baked spud 🤤 tbh their full menu sounds amazing! Anyone else just love a baked tattie?

If you want to know a little bit more about what a wedding content creator is,

It’s someone who focuses on capturing all the little, candid, and in-between moments of your wedding day.
So not just the big, posed shots.
I create soft, beautiful videos and highlight reels that tell the full story, like the laughter, the tears, the behind-the-scenes prep.
I tailor each video to each couple’s unique story. I aim to have your footage to you within 48hrs.
So, if you really care about reliving those personal moments you might have missed, that’s where I come in. I don’t replace your videographer or photographer; instead, I focus on capturing those unscripted moments.

I have my first 2 weddings booked in! I am so excited to capture this for these 2 lovely couples. Thank you for having faith in me. As I said before I want to get some experience behind me before I start paid work. Big news, I'm so excited about sharing this 🫶🏼✨️

I’m shifting my focus from promoting businesses to becoming a wedding content creator under The Scottish Edit | Weddings.

I’ll still share visits to cafes, restaurants, and businesses on a personal basis (always with permission!), and I’ll continue giving honest, unbiased reviews.

I’ll also keep doing charity spotlights, but my heart is now fully devoted to capturing wedding moments.

I have one wedding in July, and I’m looking for one more in June or July! This is completely complimentary, no payment needed, except a small fuel coverage, until I feel fully confident in the work I’m providing.

I just ask to use the footage in my portfolio. If this speaks to you, DM me your venue, wedding size, and a bit about what your day means to you.

We went to Toby carvery on North Anderson Drive for some food so I thought I’d share what I thought with anyone who what’s to hear it 😅

The building and decor is beautiful. Staff were very polite and helpful and the food was value for money. I mean you can’t complain about a massive plate for £10.99 buuuut the food did look dry under the heat lights, and the cauliflower cheese was lacking some cheese in my opinion, and it was a no for me with the mash tattie (but I’m fussy with my mash tash anyhow 😅) but as I said definitely value for money, great atmosphere and lovely staff. Oh aye and mind the handles they get afa hot, look for the signs to say so 😬

And that’s my thoughts on it hahah, any one else love a carvery?

I had the most incredible day at the Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2026 with two amazing girls by my side, all raising support for Rainbow Rogues I met so many wonderful people other walkers, volunteers, and everyone who made it happen.

And a special thank you to Emma and Elaine couldn’t have done it without you! Elaine also took my camera and run to catch up with the choir singing which was impressive cause I could barely walk by this point!

Wow that was an experience 😅

I want to thank every single person who has donated, supported and cheered me on!! A massive thank you to Emma and Elaine for walking with me and keeping me going! and to my fiance and youngest daughter for meeting me at he end for my final steps and for being my everything 🥹

I still need to have a look at the total but the target of £1000 has been reached 🥹🥹🥹 all for an amazing charity Rainbow Rogues

As I was up in Inverurie a couple days ago, I had a comment to go check out the Foghouse and I’m so glad I did, it’s such a vibe in there! So if you’re popping in for your favourite tipple, a tasting session or even just a coffee and a catch up I would definitely recommend to try here.

It’s also an extension of Inverurie Whisky Shop which is brilliant to see a local business growing.

I've poured a lot of thought, passion and excitement into what's coming next for The Scottish Edit.

With the Kiltwalk just around the corner, my focus is currently on supporting an incredible cause. Once that's complete, I'll be turning my attention to an exciting new chapter that I've been working on behind the scenes.

Don't worry – I'll still be out and about sharing food reviews, supporting local businesses, highlighting charities and shining a spotlight on the amazing people and places across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

It's been hard keeping this one quiet, but I'm not quite ready to share everything just yet.

Honest food review from me at the Seaview Hotel
Omg I was blown away with the flavour of my picks, definitely recommend you getting a table and having a look at their menu. Absolutely stunning food, great staff and such a great local place to dine in. I was not paid to make this review or asked to review.
