I just wanted to share a wee post to say a HUGE thank you to those people I know, who have recommended me to clients. It has been a fun but very daunting process for me launching my business, pushing it out there and promoting myself - imposter syndrome vibes have been high!

It means the world to know that people are willing to recommend me to others, and I have some amazing clients because of this.

Community and word of mouth truly are everything when you’re self-employed, and I don’t take a single recommendation for granted.

Delighted to get the chance to go and take content pictures for Let’s Go Positive Dog Training at their General Obedience class last night. 📷 🐶

Lots of take home learnings for me! Taking pictures of moving dogs is hard - more practice required. Also very conscious of not getting in the way and distracting the dogs - take a long lens next time. A very fun evening and scrutinizing and editing pics is now underway. Thank you Janice for letting me come along!

Hashtags! Are they dead? No, just different. Think relevance over quantity. Mix them up with a selection of niche, popular and relevant. Think about the platform you are using them on and adapt to what works best for that platform.
