THIS SATURDAY: Timperley Civic Society are holding a fun day at the Stonemasons this Saturday 19th July, 12-5pm, to raise funds for this year’s Christmas lights in Timperley.

There’ll be some fabulous raffle prizes and three bouncy castles for the kids. £2 for an all-day wristband.

🍔 After a successful trial last month, The Butcher's Shop, Hale on Park Road has tonight launched a pop-up takeaway called Wrap n’ Roll Kitchen.

Using meat he sources from local free-range farms, Paul Allman - pictured with fellow butcher Kai - has devised a delicious menu with dishes including 6oz ribeye steak and eggs, double beef patty burger with Emmental, 24-hour slow-cooked joint in a soft flour wrap and piripiri grilled chicken fillet wrap.

It’s open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 6.30pm - 9pm.

Paul tells us the menu is focused on “clean, protein-rich and healthy” food.
