Exfoliation.....
Who bothers with it? And how often?
I can’t say I really bothered with exfoliating my body much over the years. I always wondered why I had those weird little bumps on the backs of my arms and the tops of my legs 🤣
As for my face, I’d do it here and there when I remembered, or whenever I could be arsed 🙈but never consistently.
Well my god... what a bloody difference it makes!
I’m genuinely not kidding. Since I’ve started exfoliating properly, those little bumps have pretty much disappeared and my skin feels soooo much smoother.
And my face? I only exfoliate once a week, but it’s made such a difference. My skin looks brighter, smoother and just healthier.
Now before anyone grabs a scrub and starts going at it like they’re stripping wallpaper 🤣 please remember exfoliation should be GENTLE.
More isn’t better.
Over-exfoliating can actually damage your skin barrier and leave your skin feeling dry, irritated, sensitive and a bit angry with you.
Let’s be honest girls, we can’t always be arsed with a 15-step routine, can we? 🤣 That’s why I love these. They’re quick, easy, take minutes to use and make an awesome difference without loads of faff.
For me, once a week on my face and 1-2 times a week on my body is plenty.
My go-to products are:
🤍 Face Smooth ~ leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and gives it a lovely glow.
💚 Body Smooth ~ one of my absolute favourites for soft, polished skin.
🩷 Super Smooth ~ brilliant for those stubborn little bumps and rough patches. I only use this every now and again when I feel like my skin needs a little extra help.
And if you asked me personally which out of the three to get, I’d 10000000% say Face Smooth and Body Smooth for sure , they smell bloody lush too 😍
Add in a good moisturiser and your SPF and you’re onto a winner ☀️
