So as I’ve been getting back into sewing just doing little bits for myself I thought I’d share my little kindle sleeve I’ve made myself since I’ve also got back into reading 🥰
I definitely won’t lose this 🤣 I love a tropical theme and had a go at quilting whilst I was at it and I love how it turned out 🤩

Any recommendations on books to read? Not any love/romance stories as such I do love a thriller and I love true crime and my guilty pleasure is Harry Potter but I’ve read all of them 🤣

MJN Collective is now Stitch & Summit ✨

I’ve really got back into sewing lately and, most importantly, I’m enjoying it again. This time I’m keeping it that way…

* No pressure
* No huge plans
* Just making whatever takes my fancy and seeing where it goes 🧵

You’ll see all sorts of things popping up here depending on what I’ve fancied making that day, and occasionally there’ll be finished pieces available to buy too. And even my huge fails when they happen 🤣🤣

Stitch & Summit feels much more me.

* Summit for another thing I love - getting outside and exploring our gorgeous Cumbrian countryside ⛰️

So don’t be surprised if amongst all the fabric, thread and random makes you also see the odd post from one of my little wanders, or me up the occasional fell feeling ridiculously chuffed with my larl self for actually reaching the summit 😂 and probably whining about how hard it was haha!

I suppose that’s what this little page is going to be about really…

Super super chuffed with this one, made with my little man in mind 🤩 he was absolutely buzzing with it bless him ha! I even got told I was a good girl and “good job mam” 🤣

Fully Insulated to keep food cool, waterproof canvas inside and out and I even added the detachable crossbody strap for when he goes on school trips so he can be hands free 🙌🏻

The name of this pattern is actually called ‘The Odyssey Pack’ from sewfisticated Craft and it felt meant to be given my old soul dog I lost in 2019 at age 17 was called Odyssey 🩵

This fabric and strap was chosen by the lady herself making this totally bespoke to her 😍
