This weekends Racing!

It is the start of the Irish championships
1st up is the Lightning rods The top 4 will be close with 8x Irish champion 902 Nigel Jackson will be on pole with defending championship 975 Ross Houston on his outside second row will be 942 Stuart Agnew and 2025 world cup winner 916 Mark Corry in 4th 987 Ian Hobson in 5th.

The always entertaining junior productions will also be having they're Irish championship on Saturday.929 Leyton Hughes Last years Irish championship and 2025 National champion is on pole. With the Corsa b of (22/23 points champion) Ryan berry in 2nd 3rd is 932 Jack Morrison. With the 2024 British championship Casey Cherry in 4th and 982 Charlie Johnson rounds up the top 5.

Also racing on Saturday are the National Hotrods who will be contesting for they're 2025 Ulster championship. (I do not have any points sheet after round 4)

The stockrods will be making they're first appearance from they're world championship with this being they're last points round its all to play for
As of now 984 Sam Mcnice sits 36 points ahead of 698 mark Crawford
951 Harry Minish has had an amazing start to the stock rods being just 2 points behind of 3rd place 947 Jonny Cardwell
25 Siobhan Martin
147 Mark Foster also have a chance on getting 3rd
The gap between 3rd and 6th being just 13 points.

Two other classes to watch out for are the
Junior rods who will be racing for the gold roof championship and the 1300 stockcars who are racing for King of the Corner.

The Junior Rods have put on some exciting races this year and this one will be no different with the top 3 being 901 Maia Thompson 2nd 975 Codi Wilson and the 107 of Charlie hill. But some other drivers to look out for are
Last years gold roof and Irish champ winner 969 Ryan Abernethy Jnr.
621 Chris Kernohan will be hoping to get a good result for his first ever championship starting 7th his Citroen Saxo has been very good in the rain. Collecting 3 Wins in the wet so far

After last weekends National championship and Irish open the 1300s will be one two watch with many local drivers cars being scarred it will certainly make the racing even more interesting

Apologies if any top 5 grids are wrong I am going off the website and MYLaps I have not mentioned some drivers due to them not being able to race or at the time of me typing this not knowing if they will be out.

This weekend 92 William donell made a change of formula moving to the 1300 stockcars.

16 Samuel Montgomery and 918 Calyn Peoples for this weekends Orci stockrod world final (Saturday) West ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP AND RON TRICKEY TROPHY (Sunday) at United Downs Raceway.

So the next meet for nuttscorner is the 1300s national championship with a massive 40 car booking list and we are garenteed a new winner this year due to 194 Robbie Wright not beeing booked with a £1000 Dash for cash race its definitely not one to be missed 🤩
969 Ryan Abernethy will be out for his 4th meeting (3rd Ni meeting)
92 William Donnell is making an appearance aswel and is definitely a driver to look out for(could he be joining the formula?)
137 Curtis Tebbenham is also booked so we'll have to keep an eye on his youtube channel in the next couple of weeks.

Its not just 1300s that have something on
The orci Ministox will also be having there King of the corner hopefully we see some visitors come over for that. Ever since the introduction of the class in northern ireland they have had a good number of visitors from the mainland even for domestic meetings. This is also the last round before the irish closed championship 964 Eoin Donnelly currently leads the points (according to the speed hive app)
