LOCAL NEWS: Bucks MPs react to budget, with responses split along party lines.

Aylesbury's Labour MP, Laura Kyrke-Smith, says it’s a boost for families, workers and local services, but Mid Bucks Tory MP, Greg Smith, calls it "frightening for the economy" and claims the government have "given up on growth".

Sarah Green, Liberal Democrat MP for Chesham and Amersham, welcomed the decision to scrap the two-child benefit cap and absorb the cost of SEND provision, but said “for millions of people struggling with higher bills, all this budget really offers is higher taxes”.

LOCAL NEWS: Loss of gas supplies for part of Aylesbury. It's affecting properties in the HP21 area and is due to water getting into the supply. SGN have opened a customer service hub at the Hawkslade Community Centre. Full details here
