Hello everyone.
This week, it was Management's birthday. On the day itself, we went to a Management Show, but she wasn't to the judges' taste so we were back of the line. That stuffed up my idea for a really great present for her π₯ππ€¦ββοΈ
After the show, we went to stay with Granny for a party, because it was Uncle Standa's Big Birthday too. We camped in the paddock, which was just like an agility show if it had no competitors. Or agility. Or anything, really. I was allowed to sleep with Management instead of being in the crate, so I was able to perfect waking her up by poking her nose. She really appreciated her 4am alarm.
There was family over from Czech. They do not speak Management, but fortunately I am fluent in Endearing, so we got on just fine. Management learnt to say "good morning" in Czech (DobrΓ© rΓ no) and also gypsophila (gypsofila) which is a cheat really because it is the same word. Still, I was impressed with her, because they do say you can't teach an old Management new tricks.
Granny's language of love is food. She likes to make plenty in case there are unexpected visitors, like a stranded rugby team, or the entire population of Derbyshire. We wouldn't have her any other way, especially Granny Muse, who made off with a chunk of pork crackling. She has quite the turn of speed for a very elderly dog when there is edible contraband involved.
I also got to meet my Auntie Nelly. This is me playing with her. I liked her a lot.
We are now home and settling back in. Having so much fun is very tiring.
