We were invited to the preview press screening of directorial debut feature film PIRATES. Reviews are under embargo, but let’s just say we can’t wait to talk about this one!!!

Written and directed by Reggie Yates, PIRATES stars relative newcomers Elliot Edusah (1917, Small Axe), Jordan Peters (Blue Story, Gangs of London) and Reda Elazouar (Outside the Wire) in the leading roles as three best mates, Cappo, Two Tonne and Kidda, trying to break into the music scene through Pirate radio. The film follows the boys as they drive through London in their tiny Peugeot pumping a live garage set from the stereo and arguing about their Avirex jackets and Naf Naf imports. As the eighteen-year olds step into adulthood they know their lives and friendships are on the brink of change. Determined to see out the century with a bang they drive from place to place in a desperate search for tickets for the best millennium party EVER.

**Pirates will be released in UK cinemas on 26 November 2021**

If you missed 's review of 's LOVE & MONSTERS, then here it is again in audio form.

"This is a fun, not-to-be-taken-seriously post-apocalyptic adventure action-comedy about a guy who ventures outside for the very first time in seven years - after the Monsterpocalypse kills off most of humanity and has everyone left living underground due to giant insects-turn-monsters roaming the earth - to reconnect with the love of his life who is 80 miles away at another colony.⠀

This is fun and enjoyable. Dylan is perfect as the near-useless-love-sick-puppy on an epic journey, who 'finds' himself. Along the way encounters a pair of wilderness experts, Michael Rooker and his surrogate daughter Minnow (Ariana Greenblatt), who teach him a few things along the way."
