Today Vivid-Images.com is at the 2025 Annual Joint Horse Show in Benderloch hosted by the Oban & District Riding Club and North Argyll branch of the Pony Club.

And what a day it's been!

Images from today will be available from midday on Monday, 9th June however if your images aren't there, check back later. Uploads will be every few hours until all photos are uploaded.

In all, a great day out for competitors and spectators and much appreciation goes to the organisers, judges and helpers who all made it happen on the day.

Now that it's finished, time to get ready for that glass of wine...!

Next weekend brings the 2025 Annual Joint Open Horse Show to Benderloch hosted by the North Argyll branch of the Pony Club and Oban & District Riding Club at Dalintober Farm near Barcaldine Castle.

Vivid-Images.com will be there following the action with high-resolution photography of competitors throughout the day. Feel free to come and introduce yourself if you would like to chat or see more of the days photos- I will be wearing a high-vis jacket and hovering around the competition areas all day.

Looking forward to seeing you there and good luck to everyone competing in the show.

On Sunday 2nd March, the Oban & District Riding Club are holding a Dressage Competition with Judge Laura MacLachlan at the Benderloch (Equestrian) Arena.

If you fancy a day out with your best friend, entries close 8pm on Wednesday, 26th February so be quick!

Entries now open for our next dressage competition - Sun 2nd March, this time at Benderloch.

Sunday morning saw entrees for the Oban & District Riding Club Clear Round Jumping event enjoying the fine (albeit cold!) weather at the Benderloch Equestrian Centre. Vivid-Images.com was there to capture a few snaps of the action as it occurred 😀

Kirkton Farm, Doune was the venue for the 2024 Strathearn & West Perthshire Summer Show and Vivid-Images.com was there for an excellent day of photography at this fabulous facility in the Central Belt of Scotland. My thanks goes to the organisers and all of the staff at this event for allowing me to join them for the day - it was great to see so many competitors joining in!
