HOW TO APPLY FOR A UK PROVISIONAL DRIVING LICENCE:

To apply for a UK provisional license, you must apply through the official GOV.UK website, provide your personal and address details, and use a UK passport, biometric residence permit (BRP), or other identity document to verify yourself. The online process costs ÂŁ34 and requires you to provide a digital photo and signature, which will appear on your license.
Step-by-step guide
Check eligibility: You must be at least 15 years and 9 months old and be able to read a number plate from 20 meters away. You must also have permission to live in Great Britain for at least 185 days.

Pay the fee: The online application fee is ÂŁ34. You can pay by credit or debit card.
Submit and wait: After submitting your application and payment, you will receive a confirmation email. Your provisional license should be sent by post within approximately one week.
