july at Coastin 🌊

this month has been filled with a mixture of highs & lows - it’s been hectic, it’s been fun, it’s been beautiful, it’s been everything all at once 🤍

we’ve celebrated: our brazilian Coastin bbq, exciting growth, the kindest feedback and witnessing jess and mims hitting the halfway point of their 8000 mile row across the pacific ocean ☺️

there’s been tough days, like anything in life, but hard work comes with beautiful rewards. it’s safe to say there’s been so many moments to be grateful for.

thank you to everyone who has followed this journey, shared a post, joined a workshop, and supported in any way! we appreciate the love so much 🫶🏻

switching sides!

this morning, we had the pleasure of running an ‘all things social media’ session for the latest business start-up club at NodeCowork

around 18 months ago, we were the ones sitting at that very table - listening to talks, soaking up advice, and learning what it takes to build a business from the ground up (turns out, it’s a lot!!)

so being able to come back and share our knowledge was pretty special.

a full-circle moment, a chance to give back, and a reminder of just how far we’ve come.

we stand by our slogan ‘taking care of your socials’ because yes, we take everything off your hands - but we do it all with care and a whole lot of passion 🤍

there are sooo many incredible businesses, charities, and individuals out there doing amazing things and they deserve to be seen by the rest of the world.

rowing 8000 miles!?

it’s not every day you row from peru to australia, nonstop and unsupported - so it’s important that a challenge like this gets the exposure it deserves!

june at Coastin 🌊

looking back, june’s been packed with so many inspiring moments…

from jess & mims hitting the ⅓ milestone on their 8000 mile row across the pacific (a huge moment!!), to the honour of being asked to speak on a panel of incredible women.

we also had the pleasure of hosting the darkswan team for a strategy morning and used the chance to gather a few more of our amazing clients and supporters to say a proper thank you for being part of this journey 🌊

I’m so proud of everything our team is achieving, and so excited for what’s still to come.

to everyone who’s cheered us on so far, thank you 🤍

maybe we do need to get each and every one of our supporters in the same room someday… october two-year celebration, anyone? 🤭

an inspiring day!

yesterday I had the honour of heading to tudor hall school to shoot content with darkswanuk 🖤

not only that, but I was also asked to speak on the most incredible panel of inspiring women. to say I had major imposter syndrome would be an understatement!

I can't tell you how petrified I am of public speaking, but I had to remind myself of every situation where I've stepped outside my comfort zone, and the benefits that came from doing so.

as nervous as I was, it turned out to be an amazing day. I got mine done second, so I was lucky enough to relax and listen to everyone who followed - and I'm still in awe.

I hope the young girls felt as inspired as I did.

I’m so grateful that I get to call this work and be surrounded by such awesome people. the biggest thanks to the darkswan team for the opportunity. we don’t take for granted how lucky we are to be part of your community!

let this be your reminder to face your fears every now and then. you never know what might come of it ☺️🌊

“oh, so you’re an influencer!”

I bloody wish. have you seen those brand trips!? maybe one day 😌

it’s so easy for us to assume that people understand what we actually do.

and I think too often we worry about repeating ourselves or sounding too boastful. something I’ve definitely struggled with in the past.

but… if you don’t shout about your business, who else is going to!? I mean, you could get a social media team to do it for you. we are the best cheerleaders 😎

but the point is: tell people what you do - and more importantly, WHY you do it. share your story, and people will get invested.

why not start right now? drop what you do and why you do it in the comments below!

you have a story worth telling. our job is to help it reach the right people & create real impact 🌊

an incredible day with incredible people 🌊

yesterday, we filled a room with some of the amazing clients and individuals we’ve had the privilege to work with through Coastin.

there were a few tears (sorry for the blubbering speech, totally unplanned lol), but that’s just a reflection of how lucky we feel to do what we do - and who we get to do it with!

to everyone who came, thank you for your time! and to those who couldn’t make it, we missed you and we’ll see you soon ☺️

he reckons we should mark Coastin's two-year anniversary with a quiet meal in october. but I'm thinking we should have a big party. what do you reckon? 😌
