We are the Great British Adventure Club 🏕️
You’re probably wondering what we know about kit. And if you’re not, you should be. There’s already enough gear review websites and advice channels out there, after all. So why should you trust us?
Well, at our core, we’re just a bunch of super passionate hikers, wild campers, mountaineers and trail runners. That’s who we are. But we also happen to be journalists, product designers, mountain guides, MLs, athletes, coaches, cartographers, and other outdoor industry professionals. And we use our combined experience — both as industry pros and end users — to test kit in an authentic, honest and unbiased way.
We do all of this always with the UK in mind. Because we believe that our little island presents outdoor gear with a unique set of challenges that many brands fail to recognise: Think year-round rain and unrelenting wind, as well as the lumpiness of the British Isles. That’s why we test kit to see how it performs here — in the UK. So you can maximise your next big British adventure through solid know-how and better kit.
