This is the end result of one our most successful campaigns.
For the last five months we've been working with the country’s hair and beauty salon sector, highlighting how it's been disproportionately hit by recent tax rises like NI contributions. While we generated well over 100 pieces of coverage (TV, radio, online), it looked like the system wasn’t going to change.
But last week our client appeared before a Commons committee - chaired by none other than Liam Byrne – and it was great to see Dicker absolutely nail it!

Early Saturday morning, we had a call from the Mail On Sunday telling us they were elevating our client from a brief mention in the health section to a wider piece in the next day's edition. Cue a few hours of frantic phone calls - but we got there in the end.

Hospital re-admissions cost the NHS £1.6 billion a year, so it is hoped such programmes could help drive down the NHS's record 7.7 million waiting list for surgery.
