𝐔𝐊 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – 11𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 🐄 🥛

Hannah and Stuart proudly represented Kendalls at the 10th anniversary of UK Dairy Day earlier this month! With over 280 trade stands showcasing all aspects of the dairy industry and more than 150 top-quality dairy cattle on display, it was a busy and insightful day.

We had the pleasure of catching up with members of the press and supporting several of our clients who were exhibiting there, creating engaging social media content to boost their visibility at the show. 📱

Hannah also met up with farming influencer Sophie Gregory on behalf of one of our clients, to chat all things 🚜

🐔 🌾 🌱 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 #𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦24! 🚜 🐄 🐖

Farm24 is a social media campaign run by Farmers Guardian and sponsored by Morrisons, which encourages those working in the farming industry to share snippets of their day on social media.

The aim is to spread awareness of the hard work of our farmers, and those working behind the scenes to help produce the food we all know and love!

At Kendalls we specialise in PR and Marketing for the agricultural industry, and we work with a variety of clients, in sectors ranging from livestock genetics, feed, hygiene, crop nutrition, farm machinery and more!

This week marked the 10th anniversary of , a campaign run by Farm Safety Foundation - Yellow Wellies which aims to spread awareness of the risks involved in farming. ⚠️

With farming having one of the poorest safety records of any occupation in the UK and Ireland, this year’s theme shone a spotlight on near misses and minimising the risk of accidents by educating and sharing best practises.

Social media management on behalf of clients this week has meant supporting them in sharing top tips across their social media platforms to remind farmers and farm workers not to skip steps when it comes to safety.

𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 2024 🌱 🌾 🚜

Taking place a little closer to home this year, we attended Cereals at Newnham Farm, Hertfordshire this week!

With three of our clients exhibiting at the show, the weeks leading up to the event were busy, producing social media content and newsletters, designing posters, flyers, and flags to ensure their stands and printed literature stood out from the crowd. As well as this, we produced a press release to launch two new exciting products for our client Garford Farm Machinery.

It was a great day, despite the sudden downpours, ☔️and rewarding to see our design work on display. We also spent time capturing video footage and photos of the event for our clients’ social media platforms and sought out new opportunities for them too.

We wrapped up the day attending the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists’ ‘Bangers and Beer’ event, a fantastic opportunity to catch up with familiar faces.

🧀 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 🧀

Today we are celebrating the humble cheese, delicious and versatile, no wonder it’s a firm favourite across the nation!

Every year our dairy farmers work hard to deliver high quality, safe milk to produce a variety of cheese, beginning and ending their day with milking the cows.

❓ Did you know? On average, a cow produces 23.8 litres of milk each day. That is nearly 9,000 litres per year!

As well as our farmers, we would also like to share our appreciation for everyone else working behind the scenes to produce all kinds of cheese.

At Kendalls we have the delight of working with a range of individuals within the dairy sector, specialising in dairy hygiene, nutrition and more! 🥛

The Kendalls team attended the British Pig & Poultry Fair earlier this month, a biannual event that brings together some of the sectors’ leading suppliers and industry experts, covering key topics that explored the challenges and opportunities ahead. 🐖🐔🥚🐥

We were delighted to attend the event on behalf of our client, and event partner, ABN Feeds.

The months leading up to the fair were busy for the Kendalls team - directing and editing video content for the ABN stand, planning social media content, and preparing written content for the ABN website and the press to promote our client’s presence at the show.

Overall, the event was a great success and Kendalls is proud to have been able to support ABN with the preparation work and marketing ahead of and during the show.
