I've found a way to get underground at many castles but never did i expect to find a castle underground . Whoever made this had a lot of time on their hands but I'm glad they did . Complete with gargoyle heads watching over the entrance the castle room is really cool . I've also included the flower room next door as its only small . This french limestone mine has a unique triple archway entrance made with stunning stonework all held together by central keystones installed in 1762. The mine consists of many drives in a pillar and stall fashion stretching over a few square kilometers . Each drive has its own name and passing from one mine to another is clearly labbled making navigation actually fairly easy for this type of network . Hidden in the dark corners of the system little rooms known as galleries can be found with cool trinkets and carvings inside as well as an extremely well built stone table which I'm sure will make some laugh . fans Olight UK Forgotten Labyrinths

Massive underground war tunnels are hidden all over Germany 🇩🇪. This particular system sits literally beneath new apartments and when construction workers stumbled across it they fully surveyed the system. Some parts we couldn't access due to the water level rose above 1.9m so we could only go one direction . Once the water receeds the relics of wartime start to appear all across the floor . Gas masks , bed frames , shoes and even ci**rs sit rotting away being forgotten in a place that once thrived with industry . Olight UK fans

We found a real piece of history inside this hidden WW2 bunker .
After the allies had completely leveled this city the remaining civilians took to the bunker and created a home . Hope you enjoy this incredible time piece of history ad much as I did .

A really nice example of a standard design air raid shelter in Germany . Set around 5m below the
surface the shelter cosists of a simple long arched corridor design with a room on each end and another in the centre for access . Blast doors separate the entrances to the sitting areas and each area has its own filtration system for air quality control . Lots of cool stuff litter the floors of the shelter including old documents and some nice old liquid containers . The words " smoking forbidden" can be read in German on the shelter wall .
