You don’t need a ticket. You don’t need an invite.
All you need is the want.
The want to do better. The want to understand more about the neurodivergent community, and the young people who are a part of it.
Sports, like football, are more than just games. They’re creative outlets, safe spaces, and opportunities for growth.
But when differences aren’t fully understood or supported, these spaces can become overwhelming and even harmful, leaving our children pushed out entirely.
This is where knowledge, empathy, and strategy matter.
Our Stephanie Ward (neurodivergent entrepreneur, supporting neurodivergent entrepreneurs, and SEN parent) will be speaking at Newbiggin Community Hub on Tuesday 13th January at 7pm.
Steph will share strategies to help managers, coaches, parents and anyone involved in children’s activities support neurodivergent children effectively, keeping sport a safe space.
Inclusion isn’t optional. Understanding neurodivergence is essential. When we get it right, we create spaces where children can truly belong.
Come along, say hi, stay for 5 minutes or 50, however long you can.
If you’ve got a little free time and the want to make a difference, we’d love to see you there ❤️🔥
