New GITS is major awesome. I love Oshii’s cool serious Major, but the og quirky Shirow version has always been the best, and this show’s action and animation are so good. The colors are so rich and vibrant and that subtle chromatic aberration 🤌

Also loving season 2 of X-Men 97. It expands to Marvel characters we only dreamed of seeing during the og 90s run, and it’s woven in so seamlessly, connecting storylines we’d only gotten in the comics.
