ABO/WBO “ቱምሳ” (ሕብረት) በመባል ከሚታወቀውና በአቶ ዘመነ ካሴ ከሚመራው የሰባት ታጣቂ ቡድኖች ስብስብ ጋር መቀላቀሉን ይፋ ካደረገበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ፣ ከኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ዘንድ ድርጅቱን እስከ መፍረስ ሊያደርሰው የሚችል እጅግ ብርቱና አሳዛኝ የቅሬታ ማዕበል እያስተናገደ ይገኛል። በዚህ ውሳኔ ምክንያት ድርጅቱ በርካታ ደጋፊዎቹን አጥቷል፤ ምሁራን፣ ተማሪዎች፣ የፖለቲካ አካላትና ልዩ ልዩ የኦሮሞ ማህበረሰብ ክፍሎችም ድርጊቱን በጽኑ እያወገዙ፣ ድርጅቱ ከዚህ አጥፊ መንገድ በአስቸቋይ እንዲመለስ ጥሪያቸውን እያቀረቡ ይገኛሉ።
በተለይም የኦሮሞን ሕዝብ ልብ የሰበረውና ለአስደናጋጭ ቅሬታ የዳረገው፣ የሕብረቱ ሰብሳቢ “አንድ እምነት፣ አንድ የፖለቲካ አመለካከት” በሚል ሽፋን ኦሮሚያን ከካርታ ላይ በማጥፋት ሌላ ስም ለመስጠት አልሞ የሚሰራና ይህንንም ርዕዮተ-ዓለም የሚመራ በመሆኑ ነው። የዚህ ሕብረት የመሪነት ሥልጣን ለኦሮሞ የሚገባ ሆኖ ሳለ፣ ያንን ቦታ ይዞ ቢሆን ኖሮ ከሕዝባችን ዘንድ እንደዚህ ያለ ከፍተኛ ቁጣና ህመም ባልተፈጠረ ነበር።
በአሁኑ ወቅት ከ95% በላይ የሚሆነው የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ይህንን ጥምረት በጽኑ የተቃወመ ሲሆን፣ ይህ ውሳኔ በሕዝቡና በABO/WBO አመራሮች መካከል ጥልቅ የሆነ መከፋፈልን ፈጥሯል። ሕዝባችን የአመራሮቹን አቋም በመቃወም በተደራጀ መንገድ ድርጅቱን የመራቅ እርምጃ እየወሰደ ይገኛል። ይህም ድርጅቱ ለተቀላቀለው ወገን የፖለቲካ ጥቅም ያስገኘ ሲሆን፣ ለABO/WBO ግን የፖለቲካ፣ የዲፕሎማሲ፣ የኢኮኖሚ እንዲሁም የሕዝብ ደጋፊዎችን የማጣት ከባድ ውድቀትን አስከትሎበታል።
ሆኖም ግን፣ የዓለም ሊቃውንት "Mistake is common" (ስህተት የሰው ልጅ ባህሪ ነው) እንደሚሉት፣ ABO/WBO "ለሕዝብ ነው የምታገለው" እያለ የሚያገለግለውን የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ሳያማክር ከጠላቶቻችን ጋር ላደረገው ስምምነት፣ በሕዝቡ ዘንድ ያለው ቅሬታ ድርጅቱን ሙሉ በሙሉ ወደ መበተን ደረጃ ከመድረሱ በፊት በአስቸቋይ የኦሮሞን ሕዝብ ይቅርታ መጠየቅ አለበት።
ABO/WBO የኦሮሞን ሕዝብ ይቅርታ ጠይቆ ከዚህ ቡድን ለመውጣት ካሰበ፣ የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ለአመራሮቹ ያደርግ የነበረውን ደጋፊነትና አክብሮት ሊመልስላቸው ይገባል። እነዚህ አመራሮች በመጨረሻው ሰዓት ከሕዝባችን ፍላጎት ጋር የሚጋጭ ጥምረት ውስጥ በስህተት የገቡ ቢሆንም፣ ይህ እርምጃ እስከተወሰደበት ጊዜ ድረስ በብቃትና በታማኝነት ABO/WBOን በማደራጀት፣ በማስተባበርና በመገንባት ረገድ የከፈሉት መስዋዕትነት ትልቅ በመሆኑ የሚገባቸውን ክብር መስጠት ያስፈልጋል፤ እንጂ በነሱ ላይ ዘመቻ ማድረግ፣ ስማቸውን ማጠልሸትና ሞራላቸውን የሚነኩ ተግባራትን መፈጸም በፍጹም መቆም አለባቸው።
ለABO/WBO የቀረበ የመጨረሻው የሰላም ጥሪ
ABO/WBO “ለኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ነው የምታገለው” ማለቱን ማረጋገጥ የሚችለው የሕዝቡን አደራ፣ ፍላጎትና ብሶት ሲሰማ ብቻ ነው። በአሁኑ ወቅት ሕዝባችን ከመንግሥት ጋር የሰላም ውይይት እንድታደርጉ እንጂ መንግሥትን ለመጣል ብላችሁ ከዚህ ቡድን ጋር ያደረጋችሁትን ጥምረት ሙሉ በሙሉ የተቃወመ በመሆኑ፣ ይህንን የመጨረሻ የሰላም ጥሪ በትልቅ አክብሮትና በህመም የተሞላ ልብ በድጋሚ እናቀርብላችኋለን።
ቀደም ሲል ለእናንተም ሆነ ለመንግሥት ያቀረብነውን የሰላም ጥሪ መንግሥት ተቀብሎ በጽሑፍ አሳማኝ ምላሽ የሰጠ ቢሆንም፣ እናንተ ግን በክብር የቀረበላችሁን ጥሪ ውድቅ በማድረግ “የብልጽግና ፓርቲ መልእክተኞች” በማለት እኛን ሰድባችኋል፣ አናንቃችኋልም። የእኛን ጥሪ ውድቅ በማድረግ ከኦሮሞ ጠላቶች ጋር ጥምረት በመፍጠራችሁ የተነሳ፣ ለሁለታችሁም አቅርበነው የነበረው የሰላም ውይይት በእንቅፋት ተጎትቷል። በመሆኑም እኛ በአሁኑ ወቅት እናንተ በሌላችሁበት ሁኔታ ከመንግሥት ጋር በጉዳዩ ላይ እየሠራን እንገኛለን።
ሆኖም ይህንን የመጨረሻ ዕድል በመጠቀም የምናቀርብላችሁ ጥሪ የእኛ የግል ፍላጎት ሳይሆን፣ “እንታገልለታለን” የምትሉትን የስቃይና የእንባ ባለቤት የሆነውን የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ጥያቄ መሠረት ያደረገ ነው። ABO/WBO እንደ ድርጅት አሁን ስምምነት ከተፈራረመበት ቡድን ይልቅ ከመንግሥት ጋር መወያየቱ ለኦሮሞ ባህልና እሴት፣ የኦሮሞን ሕዝብ ጥቅም ለማስጠበቅ እንዲሁም የህዝባችንን አንድነት ለማጠናከር የሚጠቅም በመሆኑ፤ ከተፈራረማችሁበት ቡድን ስብስብ በግልጽ በመውጣት ከመንግሥት ጋር በመወያየት ያለ ምንም ተጨማሪ ደም መፋሰስ የታቀደውን የህዝብ ጥቅም ማረጋገጥ እንድትችሉ ጥሪያችንን እናስተላልፋለን።
መንግሥት በኩል ያለው ሁኔታ ሙሉ በሙሉ መስመር የያዘና ለሰላም የተዘጋጀ በመሆኑ፣ እናንተም ይኸንን ታሪካዊና የመጨረሻ እድል በመጠቀም፣ ባመቻችሁት የትኛውም ሀገርና በመረጣችኋቸው ተወካዮች አማካኝነት ለዚህ የሰላም ውይይት እድል እንድትሰጡና የሕዝባችንን እንባ እንድታብሱ በትልቅ አክብሮትና ተስፋ እንጠይቃለን።
የመጨረሻ ማስጠንቀቂያና ማሳሰቢያ
አሁን ከተፈራረማችሁበት ጥምረት ውስጥ በመውጣት የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ እንደሚፈልገው ከመንግሥት ጋር በመወያየት ሰላም ለማምጣት ፈቃደኛ የማትሆኑ ከሆነ፤ በኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ስም መታገል እንደማትችሉና በ "ABO/WBO" (በሕዝባችን) ስም የምታደርጉትን ማንኛውንም ዓይነት እንቅስቃሴ የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ በሙሉ ኃይሉ የሚቃወመውና የሚታገለው መሆኑን በጥብቅና በትልቅ አክብሮት እንገልጻለን፤ በ "ፋኖ" ስም የምትቀሳቀሱ ካልሆነ በስተቀር በ "ABO/WBO" ስም መንቀሳቀስ የማትችሉ መሆኑን አጥብቀን እናሳውቃችኋለን።

"Extending the Final Call for Peace and Reconciliation Dialogue: A Special Request Gathered from the Oromo People and Presented to ABO/WBO by the Oromo Lawyers Group, Urging Immediate Withdrawal from the 'Tumsa' Coalition Led by Mr. Zemene Kasse, Which Stands Against the True Desires of the Oromo People and ABO/WBO Members"
Ever since ABO/WBO publicly announced its alliance with the coalition known as "Tumsa," comprised of seven armed groups led by Mr. Zemene Kasse, it has faced a wave of intense and tragic public outcry from the Oromo people that threatens the very existence of the organization. As a result of this decision, the organization has lost numerous supporters; scholars, students, political entities, and various segments of the Oromo society have strongly condemned this action, calling on the organization to immediately turn back from this destructive path.
What has particularly heartbroken the Oromo people and caused deep distress is that the chairman of this coalition operates under the banner of "One Faith, One Political Ideology," aiming to erase Oromia from the map and replace it with a different designation. Had the leadership of this coalition rightfully belonged to the Oromo, such immense anger and pain would not have erupted among our people.
Currently, over 95% of the Oromo population firmly opposes this alliance, creating a deep rift between the public and the leadership of ABO/WBO. Our people are systematically distancing themselves from the organization. While this move has provided political leverage to the side they joined, it has resulted in a severe political, diplomatic, economic collapse and a massive loss of popular support for ABO/WBO.
However, as scholars say, "Mistake is common," ABO/WBO—which claims to fight for the people—must urgently apologize to the Oromo public for entering into an agreement with hostile forces without consulting the people it serves, before public resentment completely leads to the collapse of the organization.
If ABO/WBO apologizes to the Oromo people and decides to withdraw from this group, the Oromo people should restore their support and respect for its leadership. Even though these leaders mistakenly entered an alliance contrary to our people's wishes at the last hour, their immense sacrifices in organizing, coordinating, and building ABO/WBO up to this point deserve proper respect. Campaigns against them, character assassination, and demoralizing actions must completely cease.
Final Call for Peace to ABO/WBO
ABO/WBO can only prove its claim of "fighting for the Oromo people" by listening to the trust, desires, and grievances of the public. At present, our people fully oppose the alliance made with this group to overthrow the government, urging you instead to engage in peace negotiations with the government. Thus, we extend this final call for peace with utmost respect and a heavy heart.
Although the government previously accepted our call for peace and provided a convincing written response, you rejected our respectful appeal and insulted us as "messengers of the Prosperity Party." By rejecting our call and forming an alliance with adversaries of the Oromo, the peace dialogue we envisioned for both parties has been hindered. Consequently, we are currently working on this matter with the government in your absence.
Nevertheless, using this final opportunity, the call we present to you is not our personal agenda, but the demand of the suffering Oromo people whose tears and pain you claim to fight for. For ABO/WBO as an organization, negotiating with the government rather than remaining in this coalition serves Oromo culture, values, safeguards the interests of the Oromo people, and strengthens our unity. Therefore, we call upon you to explicitly withdraw from this coalition and engage in dialogue with the government to secure the people's interests without further bloodshed.
Since the situation on the government side is fully aligned and ready for peace, we respectfully and hopefully ask you to seize this historic and final opportunity—in any suitable country and through your chosen representatives—to give peace negotiations a chance and dry the tears of our people.
Final Warning and Notice
If you are unwilling to withdraw from the coalition you signed onto and bring peace through negotiations with the government as desired by the Oromo people, we firmly and respectfully declare that you cannot fight in the name of the Oromo people. Any activity conducted under the name of "ABO/WBO" (in the name of our people) will be opposed and resisted by the Oromo people with all their strength. We strongly notify you that unless you operate under the name of "Fano," you cannot move or operate under the name of "ABO/WBO."
