๐จโฝ BIG CHANGES COMING TO THE NI FOOTBALL PYRAMID!
Things are about to get VERY interestingโฆ ๐
Following the launch of the new National Conference League Premier Division this season, applications are now opening for the next stage of the new structure โ NCL League One and League Two, which are due to kick off in the 2027/28 season.
The long-term plan is for the National Conference League to have:
๐ NCL Premier โ 12 clubs
โฌ๏ธ NCL League One โ 12 clubs
โฌ๏ธ NCL League Two โ 12 clubs
Thatโs 36 clubs competing across three national divisions and another major change to the Northern Irish football pyramid.
And THIS is where it gets interestingโฆ ๐๐ฟ
There are plenty of ambitious clubs currently outside the NCL who might look at this and think:
