Back in the summer of 2024, ASG Ireland engaged Streetmonkey to help them produce a series of recruitment videos for Northern Ireland Prisons.

Filming inside two fully-operational detention facilities presented unique challenges beyond the typical commercial shoot preparations. However, thanks to our exceptionally capable crew, led by BAFTA-winning director Jane Magowan, the production could not have gone more smoothly.

About this time last year, we worked on the visual effects for a series of HSENI Workplace Health promos for Genesis Belfast. As often happens, the video launch was delayed and they’ve only recently gone live, meaning we’re finally able to share a breakdown of our VFX jiggery-pokery.

We're excited to share that we've recently wrapped up the visual effects for "Art Detectives," a new six-part TV drama series produced by Black Dog Television for Acorn TV

Starring Stephen Moyer ("True Blood," "Sexy Beast"), "Art Detectives" centres on the Heritage Crime Unit, where D.I. Mick Palmer (Moyer) and D.C. Shazia Malik (Nina Singh, "Chemistry of Death", "The Lazarus Project") solve murders linked to the art and antiques world, from Old Master paintings, to Banksy street art, medieval manuscripts, and collectible vinyl.

Art Detectives was shot in multiple locations throughout Northern Ireland and working on almost 70 VFX plates in close collaboration with the creative team at Black Dog Television was a hugely enjoyable experience.

The series premieres on the 9th June in the US and Canada. UK dates are yet to be confirmed.
