🤔 Just because ChatGPT-5 can create your marketing content doesn’t mean it should - not without a serious sense-check anyway!
This morning I sat down to build a simple AI cheatsheet as a lead magnet for my upcoming training...but I ended up going toe-to-toe with ChatGPT-5 over a “hack” it confidently recommended… that turned out to be complete nonsense.
The problem? It looked believable. It sounded authoritative. And if I wasn’t the kind of person who questions everything, I might have repeated it publicly and damaged my own credibility.
In the below article I break down the real risk of using AI for content creation, not that it gets things wrong, but that it makes hype sound like fact and not everyone creating the content can see the difference.
Don't get me wrong, there is a place for hype, hyperbole and FOMO in marketing content. I love a good "last chance" or "amazing" thrown in there for good measure. But using it correctly (and ethically) has become somewhat of a dying art.
