A new programme from WOMENSTEC is helping women build practical AI skills for everyday life, work and future opportunities!

AI for Real Life: Practical Skills for Home, Work and Opportunity is a free six-session programme designed to help women use AI tools with confidence, whether that's writing emails, managing family responsibilities, preparing for interviews, exploring self-employment ideas or reducing everyday overwhelm.

Delivered by communications specialist and AI trainer Tina Calder, the programme takes a supportive, jargon-free approach to helping women understand and use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity in ways that make a real difference to daily life.

We’re delighted that Tina Calder, will be delivering the AI for Real Life programme with WOMENSTEC.

At Entrepreneurs Unleashed, we see every day how quickly AI and emerging technologies are changing the world of work, business and entrepreneurship.

But we also know that not everyone has had the chance to explore these tools in a way that feels accessible, practical or relevant to their own life.

That is why this programme matters.

AI for Real Life is designed to support women to build confidence with practical digital tools that can help with everyday life, employment, self-employment and new opportunities.

For Tina, this work is about much more than teaching people how to use AI. It is about helping women feel more capable, more informed and more in control of their next steps.

As Tina says, “There simply isn’t enough support for ordinary, everyday people navigating the challenges of modern times to learn not just basic digital literacy skills, but the ability to use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini to support them in tackling some of the barriers they face.”

At the next NI AI Meetup, Tina Calder will be exploring why we need to become more conscious about how we think in the age of AI.

As AI becomes part of how we work, write, create, communicate and make decisions, it is worth asking:
