Not Quite 🎥

I filmed Not Quite a few years back at the Titanic Museum in Belfast. I had a small cast & crew on board with me for the day, with myself as director & producer and a local DOP involved also.
We shot on the BMPCC 4K with an array of cinema prime lenses, and took on multiple tasks each such as gaffer and sound operations.

The film did well, having been accepted into the Film Devour Short Film Festival in 2024.

The first short film I had ever written & directed.

Shot on a summer's day in 2019, I had the idea to explore a botched operation about three idiots following their disastrous plan.
It did surprisingly well on the festival circuit, having been selected for the Film Devour Short Film Festival in 2019 amongst others that year.

"The Lady of the Night" 2019

I filmed this short film all the way back in 2019, with it being the final and third film I'd written & directed that year.

I have since reshot the film in 2025, incorporating a larger cast and crew with a much clearer vision for it. It's currently in post-production with a release date sometime in 2026.

"After a painful breakup, Barry has a chance encounter with a mysterious young woman on the city streets which sets him on a spontaneous journey with unexpected connection, cosmic musings, and a glimpse at what healing really looks like. Great news. My short film titled "The Back Loft" has just been selected into the Medeira Curtas Short Film Festival in Portugal. It will have its screening in May 2026.

Great being a part of the "On the Pulse" film festival with Cinemagic yesterday alongside fellow local filmmakers.
