This is the real Éire ☘️

What you see on the news at the moment is not the REAL Northern Ireland.

The events you’re seeing at the moment do not represent the people of this place.

This is a place filled with kindness, community, resilience, and some truly amazing people. The actions of a few should never define an entire country, city, or community that has welcomed so many with open arms.

My heart goes out to anyone who is feeling unsafe, anxious, or uncertain right now. No one should have to feel that way in a place they call home.

This is a beautiful place, with incredible people.

Luí na gréine

Pronounced lee nuh gray-nyeh

Is the beautiful Irish saying that translates as “The laying down of the Sun” to describe Sunset.

Luí: Means to lie down, rest, or set.

Na: Means “of the”

Gréine: The genitive form of grian (the sun)
