🧑🧒🧒 3 x men to play male trio in 50s/60s
🎦 Audition/Screen test - Sunday 11th October 2026
📍Derbyshire, UK.
‘Amberwell Pictures’ are re-making ROBIN REDBREAST... the seminal folk-horror cult-classic from the 1970s!!
The script is a respectful re-telling of the original, that expands and evolves the themes and characters therein.
We are looking for a ‘trio of gentlemen’ to play ‘Mr Tilie’, ‘Mr Botan’, and ‘Mr Gewit’ - a sort of ‘ring-leader & co-conspirators’ type set-up, one being based on the original’s ‘Fisher’ character.
To apply you MUST meet the following criteria:
1) to come as a ready-made ‘unit of three’.
2) to be (and able to play) men in their 50s/60s with ‘generic rural’ / west-country / ‘pirate’ accents.
3) to fully, and unflinchingly, commit to the making of the film (you will constitute half the cast and collectively be in most of the scenes).
4) have previous acting experience - these are major roles, and the film will only succeed if your performances are convincing.
5) and commit to four days of shooting in July/August of 2027 (exact dates tbc)... these will be long days, but a lot of fun, and possibly split into two.
