Our passion for music is part of our daily lives. Influences from different musical genres and a broad appreciation of all kinds of music make our online Radio unique. Set up in 2010 (in memory of a Berkswell Windmill tour guide Stan Watkins,) BCR made internet history attracting over 1,000 listeners on it's first broadcast. BCR is well known for it's Christmas Eve show featuring "Track Santa" , w

hen BCR teams up with NORAD (North American Aerospace Defence Command.) In 2016 BC Radio was re-launched in memory of Vic Hicks for whom was a dedicated listener and inspiration to BCR over its 6 successful years. BC Radio now caters for the most of England and the UK and is now ran by dedicated volunteers who take pride in the work they do.

On This Day — 4th January ska music milestone

On this day in 1996, Foundation Ska — a major compilation album by the legendary The Skatalites, was released.

This collection showcases classic tracks by one of ska’s most influential bands, celebrated for helping define the original Jamaican ska sound in the 1960s and beyond.

The Skatalites are widely regarded as foundational figures in ska history, and Foundation Ska brings together many of their key recordings in one place for fans old and new.

You’ll hear them along with many other fabulous ska artists on Ska…So Far with me on Vibe25 Radio each week from 31st January.
