Instagram's new per-slide captions for carousels? That;s a good one.

Each slide now gets its own caption, which means more context, more storytelling, more flexibility, without stuffing everything into one block of text at the top.

I'm genuinely pleased about this one.

It was such a lovely afternoon, having so many independent business owners in one room sharing ideas, supporting each other, and realising we’re all figuring this social media thing out together.

You’ll learn simple filming, editing, storytelling and how to make your content feel natural (not forced) including carousels (with a bit of Canva magic) & reels.

No deleting & reposting. No losing valuable views or data.

Be honest…

You’re not alone. Most people don’t struggle with Canva…
They struggle with using it well.

Because your content shouldn’t:
❌ Take hours
❌ Look inconsistent
❌ Feel like guesswork

March looked a bit like this for me… a lively mix of content, clients and a few “this is exciting” moments thrown in.

📍 Captured content at a brilliant charity event and business expo
💍 Started planning my offering of wedding content creation (first one next week… no pressure 😅)
🏋️‍♀️ Welcomed a new gym client on board
💬 Ran the first of three Power Hours with a Yorkshire lifestyle business.
📸 Scratched the creative itch at The Photography Show
🎥 Captured commercial content for 4 East Yorkshire businesses
🧠 Delivered in-house training to help two teams confidently create their own content
📱 Hosted a full-day workshop: Instagram, Reels & More
📲 And continued to develop content & strategy for my retainer clients

It was a real mix of done-for-you and teaching people how to do it themselves… which is exactly how I like it.

🏃‍♀️ And I also ran... a lot! Pic taken at the start (while I was still looking fresh!) of the Golden Fleece 15 miles event in East Yorkshire.

If you’re sat there thinking “we should probably be doing more with our content”… you’re probably right.

And it doesn’t have to be complicated.
