গতকাল যুক্ত ছিলাম ওয়েলস রাষ্ট্রের ঐতিহাসিক Cardiff Castle-এ অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়া Chris Stussy-এর বিশাল ওপেন-এয়ার DJ কনসার্টে ইভেন্ট ম্যানেজমেন্ট টিমে। যদিও আমি DJ মিউজিকের ফ্যান নই তবে এত বড় আয়োজনের ম্যানেজমেন্টে অংশ নেয়া ছিল একটি বড় অভিজ্ঞতা। বিশ্বব্যাপী হাউস মিউজিকের অন্যতম প্রভাবশালী শিল্পী Chris Stussy। দুপুর ২টা থেকে রাত ১১টা পর্যন্ত চলা এই বিশাল আয়োজনটিতে Chris Stussy-এর পাশাপাশি আরও অনেক বিখ্যাত DJ-রা পারফর্ম করে, যাতে অংশ নেয় হাজার হাজার দর্শক।

দর্শকদের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিতকরণ এবং entry ও exit ব্যবস্থাপনার পাশাপাশি সাউন্ড টিমের সাথে কাজ করতে গিয়ে কিছু নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা ও জ্ঞান অর্জন হয় যেমন - স্পিকার প্লেসমেন্ট ও সাউন্ড ডিলে সমন্বয়ের মাধ্যমে কীভাবে দূরবর্তী দর্শকদের কাছেও সমান মানের শব্দ পৌঁছে দেওয়া হয়; feedback , distortion ও noise reduction করে পরিষ্কার অডিও নিশ্চিত করার কৌশল ইত্যাদি। এই শো-এর মূল আকর্ষণ ছিল DJ ডান্স পারফরম্যান্স। দর্শকদের উচ্ছ্বাস ও এনার্জি দেখলেই বোঝা যাচ্ছিল ইভেন্টটি কতটা জমে উঠেছিল।
