On World Photography Day, I'm reminded why I picked up a camera in the first place: to witness, to preserve, and to share ways of life that exist far beyond my own.
Photography has taken me to places I once could only imagine, but its greatest gift has always been the people who allow me into their lives, even if only for a moment.
