"মানুষটা হাসছে। আমি মুগ্ধ হয়ে তার হাসি দেখছি। তার হাসি দেখতে দেখতেই আমার শরীর ঝিমঝিম করতে লাগল। আমি চোখের সামনে আমার সর্বনাশ দেখতে পেলাম। পরিষ্কার বুঝলাম, আমার পক্ষে কোনোদিন ও এই মানুষটা ছাড়া অন্য কিছু ভাবা সম্ভব হবে না।"
