Redbrick is in crisis.

After nearly 90 years as the University of Birmingham’s student voice, we’re facing the very real possibility that we won’t survive into the next academic year.

Redbrick has been more than just a paper—it’s been a launchpad for aspiring journalists, a space for bold ideas, and a home for student voices. But right now, we’re struggling to make it through the summer.

We’ve created a JustGiving page to raise emergency funds.
If you’ve ever read an article, written a story, or believed in the power of student journalism—please help us stay alive.

If you can donate, we’re so grateful. If not, sharing this post means the world.

Let’s not let Redbrick’s story end here. 🧱❤️

Redbrick, the University of Birmingham’s student newspaper since 1936, urgently needs your support.
