The theme for this year's Barbering category of Concept Hair Learner of the Year is Modern Fade, where precision meets creativity 🔥

Your aim is to create a sharp look that shows off what a modern fade really means to you, and we can't wait to see your chosen looks!

Category requirements:
🌟 Before photo must show the model’s hair growth before the cut
🌟 All cutting tools, styling tools and products are allowed
🌟Hair must be cut using a technique appropriate to the model’s hair type and texture, and the finished look must be styled
🌟 Hair must be cut from all sections of the head
🌟 Hair fibres are allowed to be used only around the hairline and not to be used to fill in
🌟 Models must not wear hats

This competition is open to student and apprentice barbers, and the barbering categories are open to those studying levels 2 and 3.

This year's theme for the Hair Up category of Concept Hair Learner of the Year is Editorial Up-Do and we are SO excited to see the looks that you all come up with for this theme 😍

Inspired by the pages of fashion magazines - your goal is to create a striking up-do that tells a story through shape, texture and impeccable finish.

Category requirements:
🌟 Before photo must show no plaits, twists or crimping
🌟 At least 80% of the hair must be up
🌟 You can use added hair, but this should make up no more than 30% of the style
🌟 Ornamentation can be used
🌟 All styling tools and products are allowed

This competition is open to student and apprentice hairdressers, and the Hair Up categories are open to those studying levels 2 and 3.
