My Big Sister Journey Through Cancer 💖

March 2023: We lost our beloved dad — the strength of our family.
April: My big sister turned 50. She wasn’t sure about celebrating, but Mum said, “Dad would’ve wanted you to.” So we did — with love, tears, and family.

Then came July…
My sister was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. Already grieving, we were hit again — but we came together stronger than ever.

Mum and I were in Newcastle to care for her after surgery. My brother-in-law paused work to take her to every chemo & radiotherapy session. My sisters held it down at home & abroad. We didn’t tell many — not to hide it, but to let her focus on healing.

She lost her hair, taste, strength…
But NEVER her spirit. 🩷

Now, in remission, she walked the catwalk in a charity fashion show, told her story, and shone like the queen she is greeted by a standing ovation.

She now wants to be a voice for others — especially Asian women who feel afraid or alone. You are NOT alone.

My sister is here for us, for you, for anyone who needs strength.
