Massive wildfires across France and Spain have forced more than 300,000 people to evacuate as record heat, drought and strong winds fuel fast-moving blazes. Backstage on Sunday, we had the privilege of meeting and interviewing Peter Gabriel, founder of WOMAD and legendary voice of Genesis. Generous with his time and his wisdom, he left us with a message for artists facing political, financial, and systemic struggle, especially across the Global South, reminding us that hardship moves in cycles and the call is to hold on through it, because change always comes round again.
