BEHIND THE SCENES:

👀 This is a sneak peak at part of the process involved in explaining what a company does, if you've ever tried to define yourself or a business you'll know it's often a lot harder to do than doing what you actual do is (even when your job is doing that for other businesses!).
▫️
👊 When the scope of a task is so broad with variables, literally "back to the drawing board" is always the best way. Wireless mean nothing without spotting links, adding information or topics that need to be fluid in their placements while catering for dynamic content. That's why the good old whiteboard comes in handy before being digitised for easy revision.
▫️
💬 Building any new website always requires a lot of planning ahead. Building a website that educates, showcases and works as a marketing outlet is certainly a challenge... Building one that does all that and combines over 15 years of work, knowledge, experiences and a huge range of unique projects is even more challenging.

CONCEPT INSIGHT:

➡️ Having some fun using the tropical feel for some of the websites new content. It's feeling like a rainforest here in the UK at the moment, quite fitting to use as a backdrop for the "US IN A CAN" landing page in development.
▫️
⌚ Before moving in to any 3D environment or beginning mockups of products/real world environments, starting on web animations or layout work, the basic mood, colour and style is worked on in a 2D environment before being recreated in 3D for animation or rendered onto a model.
▫️
🔥 This will be used as the label for the can, eventually to be used as a running theme across the site, with the entire scene recreated in 3D space using model plants, lighting, VFX & camera movement which are all common techniques used in drink ads.
▫️
👀 The new website will be launching soon, and whenever you see the neon box be sure to check for the information contained inside 👌.

BRAND DESIGN INSIGHT:

➡️ Creating an experience and having an impact on mood and feeling is always the goal when designing for products aimed at customers. Is it luxury & quality? Disposable? Or does it need to feel prestigious? All these are a factor in how to approach design and what mediums & material can amplify the message and experience.
▫️
🕰️ A timeless classic way to give a feeling of a personal touch is the . Due to its herritage and original use as a mark of importance, it instantly has an exclusivity feel to it, perfect for any product or service that prides itself on being elite and high in quality.
▫️
☑️ This stamp, made out of gold wax on black paper is used in the wrapping paper of the RG clothing brand. When the item arrives in the post in its shipping bag, the first thing the customer is greeted with is a hand pressed wax seal before they unwrap their new garment. This adds to the experience they encounter with the brand and is part of their hand crafted printing which offers high quality materials and craftsmanship in each top they make, all bespoke and made to order. One of the all time favourite we've created. ▫️

LOGOS + IDENTITY SYSTEM INSIGHT:

▶️Everyone knows what a logo is, it's usually the first chance any business, service, product or place has to make an impression. To communicate what the company or product does and who it might be for, it's quality and reliability, in other words, it can be a huge factor in building trust.

▫️
⌚Years ago a logo would face a military like operation to reproduce the logo across everything from boxes to buildings to planes. These days it needs to work on all of the traditional mediums and across all devices, screen types and reproduction methods from clothing to pens, business cards to billboards.

👌 A complete logo system can take a long time to produce well, with so many factors to take into consideration as well as portraying all the right messages any good logo needs to communicate.

This quick guide shows some of the things to think about when creating a logo for your business or product to give it the best chance of being around for a long time. After all... A logo design isn't judged like a diving contest, it's judged on its longevity, its ability to still be in use giving its purpose is brand recognition.

When a psychological impact is needed in a short space of time, go BIG & go BOLD!

Moving into new offices, this recruitment company in wanted to use one of its spaces as a staff training room that doubles as a PT training room as one of the perks offered by the company for employees to use. Meaning a split message was needed that will be a driving factor in setting the mindset into self development.
Reading "Walk in, Leave, IT'S ON YOU"... This piece merges typography & layout design with a short, sharp message that's quick to get in the rooms users mind to set the tone for their time in there.
Printed in vinyl instead of wallpaper or paint will allow for easy maintenance, provides vibrance & keeps the crispness required by typographic reproduction.
