Continuous learning is not a one-time event but an ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth.

It involves consistently striving for improvement, challenging the status quo, and exploring innovative methods to optimize performance.

This journey requires a continuous study of current practices, thoughtful reflection on their effectiveness, proactive identification of challenges, and the development of new approaches to enhance processes.

Knowledge can be acquired through various avenues, including self-study, formal courses, reading documentation, undertaking personal experimental projects, and attending conferences and workshops.

Furthermore, presenting findings in both professional and informal settings contributes significantly to this learning cycle.

In essence, we should dedicate our lives to continuous learning.

Have you felt invaluable? Not wanted? Rejected to doing things you know how well to do and seeing less experienced people doing them?

This is because, people don’t perceive you to be valuable to them.

Being invaluable limits the opportunities that come your way, and also limits your self worth.

Your best bet is to work on becoming valuable.

The question is “How do you become valuable?”

I will be highlighting few steps that will increase your value and open you up to opportunities.

1. Devote yourself to continuous learning

You cannot give what you don’t have! To have value to give, you must be willing to devote yourself to building your inner value.

Read books, take courses, attend conferences, listen to podcasts etc…

A writer said, the best way of choosing is leader is to visit their library.

So commit to continuous learning and continuous improvement.

2. Share what you learn

If you keep learning and not sharing, you become a dump of knowledge. And guess what, dumps decompose and become useless.

Share what you know everyday, apply what you know in situations both solicited and “unsolicited” circumstances.

ThankGod for the presence of social media platforms, you can share information unrestricted to your specific audience.

Hey dear, don’t worry whether you get likes or not, just continue cos the world is seeing the stuff you’re made of.

3. Commit to continuous improvement

In life, there is nothing as stagnancy. When you stop learning, you don’t remain where you are, you start dying.

So, continue learning, continue becoming a better version of yourself. Like paul in the bible “continue pressing for the mark of the high calling”.

Never get satisfied at how far you have gone and the recognition you have gotten, continue learning.

The world doesn’t care about your past victories, they care about your present strides.

In conclusion, for your to become a person of value commit yourself to learning, share your knowledge, and commit to continuous improvement. In so doing, you will live a life of fulfillment and continuously impact the ever hungry world.

Have any additional tips for becoming valuable? Kindly share them in the comments to help some become valuable.

Cheers
