This year especially, one of my biggest achievements is overcoming shyness. As a private and shy person, I never imagined I’d come online to create content —but God has helped me to step out with boldness.

A Note of Appreciation and Clarification from the Softlife Family.

Recently, my mum shared a post about looking for a social media admin, and since then, she has received many messages from people—some even very close to her—suddenly showing interest in the role. Interestingly, many of these people had rarely engaged with her content before, through likes or comments. This just goes to show that not everyone around you truly wants to see you grow; many only want to benefit once you’ve started making progress.

That’s why it’s important to focus your energy on those who genuinely support you and cheer you on, not on those who only show up when there’s something to gain.

We are especially grateful for the very few friends—about two of them—who have been consistently supportive right from the beginning. My mum always talks about them with so much appreciation, because they engage with her page daily and have truly stood by her. May God Almighty richly bless them, as well as all of you who don’t even know us personally but have shown so much love and support.

For clarity, she has already found someone who is helping with the admin work, so there is no need to keep sending messages about the position. And to those who now say they’re “always on the page,” please, no hard feelings—those times of checking who comments or not are long gone.

Thank you all for your understanding, and may God bless every one of you who continues to support sincerely.
