Grim news out of Birmingham City Council, as the Labour cabinet admits their budget gap for next year has soared from the £67m savings needed before the Autumn budget to a jaw-dropping £153m now!

Once again, residents are being hit with a double whammy—higher taxes for fewer services. Birmingham Labour has confirmed they’re hiking Council Tax by another 10% this April.

It was great to catch up with the team from Joule's Brewery this evening to hear about their exciting redevelopment plans for The New Inn Harborne

With a £600k investment, they're set to:
✅ Extend the pub
✅ Improve the beer garden
✅ Expand the bar

All while preserving the historic features that make this much-loved local so special🙌
