We’re ending the year in true festive style with a joyful celebration of women and gender expansive creatives! 💫

Expect an inspiring line-up featuring poetry, DJs, live music, market stalls, arts & crafts activities, and a Christmas raffle to win some amazing prizes top it all off. 🎶🎨🛍️✨

This one is extra special as it will be our last event at Artum before it closes at the end of the year. It feels beautifully full-circle to return to the space where She Creates first began, celebrating how far we’ve come and the incredible community we’ve built together so far ❤️

Scarlett K is a multi-genre DJ, she plays classic tracks across Funk, RnB, Hip-hop, Disco, House, Dance Hall, Reggae, Soul, Jazz Fusion, Broken Beats, Garage, 80s, 90s, Commercial and more.

Scarlett‘s ability to connect with her audience is an unmatched vibe. From her genre transitions to scratch skills, no one will leave the floor disappointed.

Sister Smalls is a multi-genre Dj, her sets explore a rich mix of sounds, blending ancestral rhythms with industrial edges and nostalgic gems with fresh beats.

Since stepping behind the decks in 2021, she’s shared her infectious energy with bars, festivals, and airwaves. Emma is also the creator and host of Beauty in the Beats, a fortnightly dance music show on Brum Radio that highlights the people shaping the scene in Birmingham and beyond.

Introducing our first two guest DJs for our takeover next week at 🪩

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻
The Lovely Helen started DJing in the early 90’s joining the Wobble resident crew in 1993, playing alongside the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Idjut Boys, Josh Wink, Derrick Carter to name a few. Helen has made a return to DJing in the last year reigniting her love for the craft, mixing classic sounds and modern beats.

Helen is also the founder of - music inspired clothing for Women & Kids. Along side a growing range of festival and partywear, bags, accessories and jewellery!

Anne-Marie’s love for music extends beyond live set ups, and she has recently been playing out as a DJ under the name “Amba”. Anne-Marie’s mixes journey through broken beats, Jungle, DnB, Wonk, B***y bass, and Tropical beats. Anne-Marie’s sets are high energy and bass heavy, reflecting the underground rave culture that she grew up around. Amba is looking forward to sharing some of her more down tempo world rhythms with us next week.

Over the years Amba (aka Anne-Marie) has collaborated with a wide range of artists, DJ’s, producers, and MC’S, performing gigs in the UK and abroad!
