Left my house this morning…
the one I pay council tax on.
Jumped in my van —
the one I already paid tax on when I bought it.
Then paid road tax (or whatever new name they’ve come up with for the same thing).
Stopped for fuel before work…
yep, taxed again.
So by 8am I’d already paid about three different taxes
and hadn’t even earned a penny yet 😂
And god forbid I earn more than £50k a year,
’cause then 40% of everything I make goes straight to tax.
Not a point worth bringing up to a politician though…
we all know where their wages come from 💸
Must be nice being able to give yourself a pay rise
with other people’s money 🤷♂️😂
