Here's the cover of the November 2025 edition of Fiveways that will be available at the usual outlets by the end of this month. I'm pleased to report that we have a new 'Railway Jottings' correspondent from the West Somerset Railway to take over the pen from Ian Aldridge. He's called John Simms and he's been involved with the WSR for a very long time. We give praise and our very best wishes and thanks to Ian for his superb efforts over many years. You're a star. You'll also notice the cover photo of Dr Philip Radford's new book I mentioned in my last post - humbling to say the least. What a star he was for many, many years. Ursula Franklin is on board with her 'Nature Notes', though - and I think they are brilliant. 😁

Just thought I'd update you all with this fantastic news: I have been in contact with Dr Radford's family regarding the 'Nature Notes' he provided for many years for Fiveways Magazine, and having collated and sent the family all the articles I could muster going back many years, they have now produced a book of these articles, appropriately entitled 'Nature Notes', and it is available to buy from the publishers Brown Dog Books. I understand that some have been placed in outlets in our area too.
