Just thought I'd update you all with this fantastic news: I have been in contact with Dr Radford's family regarding the 'Nature Notes' he provided for many years for Fiveways Magazine, and having collated and sent the family all the articles I could muster going back many years, they have now produced a book of these articles, appropriately entitled 'Nature Notes', and it is available to buy from the publishers Brown Dog Books. I understand that some have been placed in outlets in our area too.

A tad on the early side perhaps, but here's the cover of the August/September edition of Fiveways magazine for you. It's a bumper edition with 60 pages. It'll be available from the usual outlets at the end of the month, but we are looking for a new place to make them available to replace Mount Street Garage which sadly closed last week. Here's the cover image of the July 2025 edition of Fiveways Magazine. My humble apologies for the glaring error on page 3. I forgot to amend the part which details the copy date. Obviously it should read 'The copy date for Aug/Sept 2025 is Thursday 10th July' and not what it does say.

Hello everyone! Just to let you know that the copy deadline for the April edition is today (10th March) and that as things stand the edition will be a crammed 60-page one with all the details and entry form for the Bishops Lydeard Flower Show. It's already packed full, and there is no space for any late additions this month!

My humble apologies to the good folk who have sent me articles that for some reason are not in the February edition as they should be. I don't really know what's happened, but I appear to have mistakenly deleted four pages before sending the issue to the printers.

I am aware of two such missing articles, but if you have sent me something and it's not in this issue, please let me know, and I will ensure that it is in the March edition, which will be a bumper issue complete with a printed apology from the editor.
