1. Be in a calorie deficit and keep track of your macros 🥔🍠🍗🥦
* Prioritize foods that are high in protein, high in fiber, low in calories and low to moderate in carbohydrates.
* Weigh your food and log everything in the MyFitnessPal app or other similar apps.
* A general protein range need of a person is around 0.8–2.2 grams per kilogram of body weight depending on your goals and activity level. You can also use a TDEE calculator online to estimate your calorie and macro needs and see whether you need to be in a deficit, maintain, bulk or cut.
* Don’t completely eliminate carbs like sweet potatoes, potatoes, rice, etc. because you need them for energy.
* Avoid using too much cooking oil and try to reduce your intake of sugary and salty foods. But you can still enjoy your cravings from time to time so you can actually enjoy the process.
* Eat plenty of high-fiber foods like vegetables, fruits, chia seeds, and more.
2. Do strength or resistance training🤸♀️🏋️♀️
* You can work out at the gym or at home—whatever works best with your schedule.
* If you’re just starting out, I would recommend getting a coach/personal trainer because they’re the experts in this field. I had a coach/ personal trainer for my first two months and honestly, it was worth it. After that, at least I already had an idea of what I was doing.
* It’s also really important to lift weights because it helps build and maintain your muscles. When you train your muscles , the more you burn calories—even while you’re at rest. Training your muscles helps also on shaping your body as a girly. Hehe
3. Do cardio after lifting weights🏃♀️
* My go-to cardio has been the treadmill and StairMaster. Doing cardio is important for added up burned calories.
* If your gym has a stairmaster, even around 20 minutes is already a good start. Choose a speed that you can manage. It doesn’t have to be super fast. You should still be able to enjoy it. I usually stayed around level 3–4 when I used the StairMaster.
* For the treadmill, you don’t have to go super fast either. Even around 3–5 mph can work. And if you can, try adding some incline. A higher incline generally means more calories burned.
4. Walk 10,000 steps or more and sleep 7-8 hours a day 🚶♀️😴🛌
* I’m not really into high-intensity activities, so walking worked really well for me. It’s less demanding than running.
* I can run, but honestly, I feel like I don’t even want to do it the next day! 😂 So I stick with around 10,000–20,000 steps a day.
* You might burn fewer calories compared to running, but when you add up those small habits over the course of a week, they can make a big difference.
*You can listen to your favourite music while you walk indoors or outdoors so you enjoy it more.
* Sleep atleast 7-8 hours a day. That is for your recovery and it is very important for fat loss.
5. Don’t compare your fitness progress to someone else’s 💪🤗
Don’t compare your Day 1 to someone else’s Day 365.
Instead, let people who are already strong and disciplined inspire you. That kind of energy is contagious!

I’m still learning and improving too. Everything I’ve shared here is based on my own experience, so what works for me may not necessarily work for everyone.
That’s it for this video. See yah! 😘 ゚
