US actor Kelsey Grammer has once again divided opinions with his views on politics.

Famed for Cheers, Frasier and The Simpsons, Grammer has been more vocal than ever about his "hero" US President Donald Trump, whose ratings are plummeting further south than the contents of his knickers.

Grammer has never made any secret of his Republicanism but is currently campaigning for Trump ahead of mid-term elections later in the autumn, in which polls suggest the Republican Party will lose slight majorities in both Houses in Congress.

The most recent poll conducted by IPSOS has Trump's approval rating at just 33% – the lowest result in any poll since his entry into politics.

BREAKING: Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle has written to Reform UK leader Nigel Farage to raise concerns over his MPs' misuse of official parliamentary stationery.

His letter reads:

Dear Mr Farage,

Although I appreciate your tenure in the House of Commons has been somewhat hampered by your decision to request your appointment as Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead, granted on 8 July 2026 by the then-Chancellor of the Exchequer and Second Lord of the Treasury, the Right Honourable Member for Leeds West, but later relinquished through your re-election to the seat of Clacton, a number of letters have been brought to my attention which have raised some concerns.

These letters, all of which were addressed to you and dated yesterday, contain fictional and satirical resignations from the Reform UK Members for Newark and Skegness. These letters were printed on official stationery reserved for House of Commons business and protected by Crown Copyright laws.

I am sure you are aware I have been patient with your conduct and that of Reform UK MPs since your election in 2024. However, a line has to be drawn and, when laws are potentially being breached, my Chairman of Ways and Means, her deputies and I have all agreed conduct of this kind is not to be tolerated. Further, we agreed that conduct such as that recently shown by your MPs has the classic call card of a Nigel Farage publicity stunt written all over it.

As we are both well-informed and of which is amply documented in the public domain, your conduct is already in the process of an investigation by the independent Commissioner for Parliamentary Standards. The issues raised above also fall under the scope of the Commissioner for Parliamentary Standards.

As Speaker of the House of Commons, I am ultimately responsible for the protection of these standards, including the proper use of House of Commons documents. I have, therefore, no other choice than to escalate these issues for investigation to the Commissioner for Parliamentary Standards alongside the existing investigations already in progress.

I would like to reassure you that this action is by far the bare minimum action that my Chairman of Ways and Means, her deputies and I are compelled to take without compromising the rules all MPs, including myself, are expected to follow. This is to avoid fuelling your already seemingly constant accusations of an "establishment stitch-up" whenever your conduct is criticised, which is becoming increasingly tiresome.

In addition to the above points, I should remind you that a 69-year-old Bolton Wanderers supporter from a small village near Chorley who speaks with such a strong southern Lancashire accent that BBC Parliament provides subtitles during their broadcasts of proceedings of the House, can surely not be considered "the establishment" when compared to a public school attending millionaire from the Home Counties such as yourself.

Please be advised that this letter will be published in the public domain and on the Parliament.UK website. If you have any queries about this letter or its contents, please do not hesitate to contact a member of my team in the usual manner.

I would appreciate your full co-operation with House staff and the panel forming the Commissioner of Parliamentary Standards investigating these claims.

Yours sincerely,

Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP
Speaker of the House of Commons
Unaffiliated Member of Parliament for Chorley

BREAKING: A letter which is claimed to have been written by the Speaker of the House of Commons addressed to the Reform UK "shadow chancellor" has been allegedly been leaked by a member of his own staff.

Robert Jenrick tendered his fictional "resignation" from his fictional role of "chancellor of the Exchequer" to fictional "prime minister" Nigel Farage on Saturday in a letter posted on his social media feeds.

The letter used an official House of Commons letterhead and was not labelled as satirical, which is against parliamentary rules.

A response has been released by a member of his staff which has allegedly been written by Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the Speaker of the House of Commons, whose role includes the conduct, safety and security of MPs. Sir Linsdsay has raised these responsibilities on numerous occasions in the Commons and is known to take this role extremely seriously.

Again appearing to be printed on an official House of Commons template and complete with a copy of his signature. Whether this document is official in itself is a matter of contention, given the shambolic track record of deception by the party.

However, whether the letter is genuine or not, the whole episode is likely to land Reform UK in hot water regardless.

A personal letter from the Speaker of the Commons regarding codes of conduct addressed to a serving MP is likely to be considered a matter of public interest, but should also be considered strictly confidential until a satisfactory conclusion is agreed by all parties involved, according to FJBA UK's human resources expert Milaka Lotococh.

Conversely, she says the secondary misuse of the official document template and falsifying the signature of a public official could also cause problems for the Newark MP.

Milaka has clarified, however, that although the Emloyment Rights Acts of 1996 and 2005 do not apply in the Commons, she would encourage the dismissal of Jenrick and the rest of the MPs who were either elected for or defected to Reform UK, adding "none of them would have a leg to stand on with all their allegations".

A society of dwarf performers has ostracised a founding member after he admitted grooming young girls for sordid photos.

4'2" Marc Corrieili, 33, appeared via video link from custody at Hamilton Sheriffs Court on Friday charged with online s*xual offences against underage girls as young as 13 years old.

He repeatedly messaged his victims and paid them as little as £40 for explicit images between April 2019 and June 2025.

Corrieili, from Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, pleaded guilty to ten counts involving six girls aged between 13 and 17,. None of the victims knew him personally, and he had established contact with them on social media.

Neil Thomson, prosecuting, said Corrieili told his victims he had a "fe**sh for tights, stockings and feet".

Corrieili had previously worked at an agency where he was hired for events to which he dressed as a character such as an Oompa Loompa or Superman for £150 an hour, for which he set ground rules including not being picked up or thrown, having anybody tampering with his drinks, or the word "midget" being used in his presence.

He left that role after he was convicted of preying on schoolgirls for s*x 12 years ago. He was sentenced to 240 hours of unpaid work and placed on the s*x offenders' register for three years in September 2014.

In a statement, actor and television presenter Warwick Davis, who also chairs the Midgets' Elite Group of Actors (MEGA), said: "In light of recent proceedings up in Scotland, MEGA can confirm Marc Corrieili has been expelled from and is no longer a member of our union.

"MEGA gave him the benefit of the doubt over a decade ago after his first conviction. The support he received from our union was far greater than he ever deserved. He will no longer be welcomed in any capacity at MEGA.

"All of us at MEGA sincerely hope Corrieili now outgrows his behaviours following his admissions, which itself is a huge step towards his rehabilitation.

"We are confident Corrieili will be handed a lengthy sentence by the court, and the time he will spend in the big house will give him time to reflect and overcome his issues.

"But, MEGA would like to stress that at the very top of our thoughts are the victims, for whom we hold the most sizable amount of love and respect for their tremendous courage, and we hope the sentence Corrieili is handed down is a massive relief for them in their long search for justice."

We would like to offer our congratulations and unequivocal support for the teams at Channel 4 News, its producers at Independent Television News (ITN), the covert investigating journalists at Verbatim, and all those involved in the process of exposing DeformedUK on the programme transmitted on Thursday 3 September.

While FJBA UK is a small and independent outlet with little influence, we pride ourselves in our lack of involvement of the so-called "establishment".

We would equally like to express our pride in the mainstream media on British terrestrial television, produced by the country's first independent news outlet with over 70 years of experience, which have both finally gathered enough evidence on the real enemy of the people to warrant its broadcast without the risk of legal action.

We stand with Channel 4 News, ITN and Verbatim. We support any criminal investigation into the political party in question, alongside any investigation into any party, whether they be an individual or organisation.

Therefore, FJBA UK will no longer make any reference to Reform UK as "DeformedUK" or its party leader Nigel Farage as "Nasty N**i Nigel Führage", with many more pseudonyms used for others associated with the party.

It is within the spirit of any criminal investigation launched we have taken this decision, and FJBA UK wishes to avoid any potential detriment of a proper, thorough and, above all, successful, investigation into the party and its affiliates, associates, members, sponsors, or any other company, individual, organisation or any other body with financial or otherwise connection with the party.

FJBA UK would like to add that upon conclusion of any proceedings that may arise from a public body with jurisdiction to place sanctions on the party, we will resume the use of these pseudonyms.

Argentine President Javier Milei has held a news conference overnight in which he echoed claims the Falkland Islands, or las Malvinas "belong to Argentina" made by the losers of the FIFA World Cup final.

The president, who has clearly no sense whatsoever that could be proven by his alleged friendship with his US counterpart Donald Trump and his blatant disregard for politics, the Islanders or history itself, has enjoyed a boost in popularity in his home country after learning oil could be drilled off the coast of Stanley.

Unfortunately, the facts surrounding the history and politics of the Falkland Islands, plus the detreriorating cognitive health of his orange American friend, who is obviously his friend for monetary reasons, are against Milei.

A prime example to argue this point would be that the Falkland Islands' association with Britain outdates the very existence of Argentina. Not to mention its referendum in 2013 in which just two people out of 1,518 Islanders explicitly voted against being politically associated with the UK as a British Overseas Territory, with a further three votes counted as invalid.

Trump is an ally of Milei and has referred to him as his "favourite president" – and Trump has history with his sights on oil in the Western Hemisphere.

But there's a few things Trump should remember, not least that most of the UK is in the Western Hemisphere, too. Including the nukes.

Plus, his mate Epstein's "widow" was part of the media elite in the UK. Ghislaine Maxwell has made failed attempts to be released from prison for her part in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, having seeked the assistance of Trump, only for that to be overturned by people in a legitimate capacity to make such a decision.

It is believed Trump doesn't want to give Prime Minister Andy Burnham the time of day, with the former having been quoted "he's very liberal" before Burnham became prime minister.

However, all of that is nothing to be frightened of. Trump is a loose canon. He's the one person with ultimate control of the world's sole superpower.

And our American "friends" voted for it.

A Welsh grandmother has expressed her disappointment after buying a set of dentures from Facebook Marketplace.

Karen Soper, 55, from Neath, south Wales, purchased the item after seeing an advertisement for "simple at-home mouldable dentures" for sale priced at £14.99.

She received the dentures but found them to be made from solid, cheap plastic and says they instantly fell out of her mouth the moment she tried them on.

"I tried to put them in, and they just fell out of my mouth. It looks exactly like the teeth sweets you can buy. The Haribo sweets teeth look nicer," Karen told WalesOnline.

Karen says she is unable to afford professional treatment and decided to speak out to prevent others from disappointment after buying the product.

She says the advert showed people confidently eating apples and corn-on-the-cob while wearing the dentures, but was shocked to find the product she received were completely different to the video she saw, which was linked to a page with only 18 followers.

"Someone's making an absolute fortune because these teeth look like they cost 20p," she added.
