Join us at Abingdon Street Market Blackpool for a creative evening where you’ll get to paint, have a little tipple, enjoy yourself and meet some lovely people along the way! 😎

Our events aren’t like the others…
I’m all about keeping the conversation going, bringing people together and making sure there’s none of those awkward silences.

👉 You’re not coming as individuals, you’re coming as a collective - and honestly, that’s my favourite part! 🫶

No experience is needed, just come along and give it a go! You will all get your own painting pack and easel to take home, allowing you to continue painting throughout the year! 👈🎨

All craft supplies are provided, so all you need to do is turn up and get painting! We will have a few options of inspiration that you could follow as a guide but we want you to be creatively free and express yourself how you choose!!

So you best get thinking… 🤔

Now, onto the poster…

I LOVED making this one. From the start, the aim was to make something that immediately felt nostalgic, but still had a really strong and stand alone layout. The grain, texture and rougher elements helped bring that 2000s grunge feel to life, while the structure keeps everything feeling clean and easy on the eye! 👀

I spent a lot of time playing with the balance between the type, imagery and textures, making sure nothing was competing for attention and everything sat exactly where it needed to and I love itttt!!!

This was also another chance for me to push Photoshop further into my design process, which I’m really enjoying!

Lately, I’ve got my creative spirit back after feeling really creatively blocked… 🎨

…Simply getting out of my room, going to new places and experiencing different things has helped me find that spark again. I wasn’t looking for the inspiration - it just finds you.

And yes, some days I’m still sat in my room thinking ‘I need to get out’ 😂 But I have to remind myself: if I want to keep exploring, I also need to make time to sit down and do the work that gets me there.

Today’s lesson: put the effort in, even when it feels difficult. You’ll get right where your working towards 👈
