You can have the wedding you always wanted for 20 or 220 people, with a matchless backdrop of woodland and sky, shimmering lake water and magical Cornish earth. If you're planning one of the most important days of your life and feel you want something more than the usual church, registry office or overblown hotel then inspiration can be hard to find. wedding, wedding by water or perhaps a camping wedding then you've come to the right place. Our wood, willow and canvas Pavilion isn't on a manicured lawn but really outdoors; by a clear brook & under a canopy of oak and ash. Declaring your love in front of family and friends is big stuff; whether you choose an old fashioned wedding or modern civil partnership is up to you - we can make it natural or funky, eco-chic or country. You might be drawn to a vision of a fairy glade; where you exchange your vows by woodland and stream before musicians on fiddle and flute play you past banks of foxglove and wild rose. Children clutching posies skip alongside as you walk hand in hand to a tented space filled with food and flowers. Later candles in paper lanterns and tiny lights shine softly across the music and dancing - long after little ones are tucked up in their tipis. You could be stirred by the rise of the eco-wedding; thinking green and sustainably from the beginning, you want to arrange ceremony and reception close to one another to reduce miles travelled, low impact accommodation for everyone to stay in, local suppliers of seasonal food and drink, in fact everything as low carbon and earth friendly as it can be. Or go bold Bollywood; styled in hot pinks, saffron and red, with low seating and glittering saris, or English country house; afternoon tea served on vintage china under swags of retro bunting. Maybe use the pure waters of our lake to float coloured nightlights in your own private Festival of Light. Choose to set dress it all for glamour or lazy days. Our beautiful valley and woods are perfect for Alice & Mad Hatter tea parties, Enid Blyton style adventures or just simple bbq’s and woodland picnics - celebrations as easy or detailed as you please. 💚“We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience at the Cornish Tipi Weddings it was the perfect setting for our wedding, and Kim and her team behind it made everything truly magical from start to finish.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive and supportive. In the lead-up to the big day, they were always happy to accommodate our requests, no matter how small. We were able to visit the venue multiple times, and they helped us work through every detail with care and flexibility. It really felt like all our ideas were welcomed, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork. The team were so well-organised and professional, it honestly felt like a well-oiled machine. Even to the point of giving us the opportunity to use their boat to capture a one of a kind experience, with the help of Danny and Will. They were calm, attentive, and always one step ahead. It meant we could completely relax and enjoy the day knowing everything was in expert hands.

The venue itself is absolutely breath-taking. We travelled from the other side of the country to get married there, and it was worth every mile. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the surroundings and the atmosphere the team created.

We’re so grateful to everyone at the Cornish Tipi Weddings for going above and beyond to make our day as perfect as it was. We wish we could relive the whole experience again. We highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable wedding experience.” 💚

Another stunning September wedding featured everything from a Celtic harp at the woodland ceremony to a flowery bridal boat rowed across a fallen leaf lake. 🍂

Later there were smoke bombs & sparklers & great moves on the dance floor. 🪩 💃🏽

Insanely beautiful embroidery on the wedding couple’s dress, veil & shirt were styled with toning florals at the wedding pavilion and in vintage milk churns at the lake 🍃 🌼 🍃

Over the moon to have won another Fearless Award!! Such awesome news in these challenging and strange times.

Ushering Autumn in with unforgettable flair…what a month of glorious September weddings we’ve had!

This beautiful day had everything from seasonal Cornish grown blooms – including flower crowns – to a vintage Alfa Romeo that looked the essence of style & romance both in our woodland lanes and nipping off to the coast with bride & groom for a few dreamy beach shots between ceremony & reception.

Luigi the rescue greyhound headed the VIP guest list (& walked in with a bridesmaid) with his bed comfortably settled beside the wedding pavilion so he could be fully present at the ceremony and a solo singer & guitarist set the scene for the arrival of the bride. 🐕🎶

The bride wowed everybody in a stunning All Who Wander gown, with bridesmaids in rich Autumnal colours toning with the wedding flowers. The groom and bridal party arrived from a house in nearby Trebetherick that the groom first stayed in when he was 4 weeks old! His family have rented it every year since 1957…what a perfect place to get ready for your wedding day…we can’t think of a lovelier back story 🫶🏽

Afterwards it was up to the main marquee for Pimm’s on arrival and a night of feasting, outdoor games, bash the pinyata, karaoke & photobooth fun with dancing to DJ friends until midnight – a blast was had by all! 💃🏽🪩😎

Our Classical Strings Quartet played for a magical wedding recently at Cornish Tipi Weddings It’s always so beautiful there by the lakeside and in the woods…there were even some very special teddy bears joining the guests! 🥰
