Haven't seen as much of Sid lately. Visited Thursday then about 10pm last night. Enjoyed a large Sunday dinner. Fish pate with 2 pouches of salmon gravy, lots of kitty milk then made a start to the young fox's dinner! Dessert time. Photos of little empty bowl were taken after his SEVENTH licky tube! Reminded me of one of those emotional blackmail SSPCA adverts! 🤣 Of course it worked & he got an eighth tube! 🤣 Got me well trained this boy! He then decided to have a snooze in the doorway. Thought I'd never get to bed! 🤣

Sid arrived for supper about 915pm. Got stuck in to a bowlful so I decided to go for the de-fleaing. Nearly never made it. He jumped back as soon as the smell hit our nostrils. Sniffed the food when I moved it towards him, suspicious of what I might have put in it. Quickly produced a licky tube as a distraction. It worked. 🤣 He had 3 of those & some kitty milk. Whew! So much easier to worm a feral kitty than apply that stinking stuff, for sure!😳

9.15pm & I was in the kitchen with the door open. Heard a fairly loud meow & looked out. Sid back for another supper! 🤣 First time he's ever shouted on me like that! Didn't communicate with meows for quite a while after I met him. Gradually replied (very quietly) when I spoke to him. He was making sure I heard him tonight though! 🤣

Sid enjoyed his supper this evening. Beef pate with 2 beef soups & a huge drink of slightly watered down kitty milk (better hydration I thought.) Loves a roll around with his fish after a meal. I was amazed to see he can get his back paw up to his mouth, for a wash. More flexible than I had imagined! Blackbird was not amused as he had to wait his turn for supper & Sid was in no rush to leave. 🤣 Followed me into the house earlier to make sure he'd get something to eat. 🤣

Early evening visit. Not hungry but the kitty milk went down well. 😁 Lapped it up for whole lot longer than the video. Doesn't like it cold so if it's an opened carton in the fridge, I have to add hot water to bring it to a Sid approved temperature. He insists on peeing in my heather plants before leaving, to let me know his kidneys are working fine, but will no doubt return for food later.😆

I've never seen Sid eat as much as he did tonight. Beef pate with THREE pouches of beef soup, 2 licky tubes & kitty milk! 🤣 After he'd cleared the bowl I showed him a soup pouch & said "Would you like this?" He left the bowl, came over & sniffed my hand then let me stroke his forehead with one finger. 😁 Didn't need any encouragement with the licky tubes. Loves those. He'll no doubt be snoozing somewhere now. Think he knew there's rain forecast from 9pm so got his dinner in early. 😅

0500 on a Sunday morning. Sid knows I get up early! 😁 Flopped through the hedgehog hole, looking knackered. Had a drink of water before coming down to the kitchen for breakfast. Chicken pate with 2 pouches of soup on top & a drink of milk. You know he's enjoyed a meal, when he shows off his ambidextrous paw skills, to lift the remaining bits. 😁

Sid arrived about 830pm tonight. Pleased to see him as it's been a warm day & he's always in need of fluid. His new favourite is kitty milk & can drink a 200ml carton in one sitting. 😁 Enjoyed his chicken pate with two soup sachets on top & milk on the side. Played with his fish then had a snooze outside the door. Woke up & finished the wee bit food he'd left, washed down with milk & off he went to closely inspect the plants! I was grateful he didn't spray on them as he usually does!🤣

Visit from Sid just before 10.30pm last night. Came straight in & went behind the door. Grabbed his toy fish & took it outside. I had sprayed the fish/mouse with catnip earlier. 🤣 Took his supper out to him. Came back in to play with the mouse. I was honoured to be shown the belly of trust. 🤣
