I kept the end of July and August BM and party free…but I did take my decks on RSY’s summer camp, Shemesh, that I was a leader on.

Managed to make use of them a few times and I loved doing a last night of camp silent disco.

If your kids were on Shemesh and like the idea of one of their camp leaders being their BM DJ, then give me a shout and I’ll gladly do a special RSY discount.

What a difference a few hours makes…

On Sunday I spent 10am-4.30pm doing my black belt karate grading in Borehamwood. Then by 6.30 I was set up in Finchley ready to help Isabella and her friends party the night away for her 15th birthday!

CONFESSION...

I owe you an apology...

18 months ago I thought I would get more bookings if I took on the persona of a young, up and coming DJ. And my dears, I was right, people embraced me and put faith in me.

The truth is though that I am actually an 92 year old bubba from Stanmore called Gertrude with a purple rinse, none of my own teeth and barely any of my marbles.

I've been wearing a Hollywood quality prosthetic body suit of someone young enough to be my great grandson ... it gets shvitzing in there though and with April ushering in Spring and Summer, I felt I can't try to fool you any longer.

What a great night helping Gabi and her family and friends celebrate her Bat Mitzvah. An amazing crowd who really embraced the fancy dress factor and partied hard right through to midnight!

- 2x Bat Mitzvah’s (one in a restaurant in Finchley and one at Arkley 9)
- A 50th in a marquee in a garden

Hoping to get over that £3,000 marker before the end of the first 5km.
