Our Nigerian brother at it again. Chiemka Okoronta, 29, was among the last two passengers on a bus in Morley on the evening of March 25 this year. The other passenger, a 17-year-old girl, was told she would need to take a taxi back to Bradford.
Okoronta, of Morley Street, Bradford, offered to share a taxi with the teenager. However, he directed the taxi to his flat instead of the intended destination.
Prosecutor Graham Dowling told Bradford Crown Court that the victim attempted to contact a friend for help but her phone had run out of battery. She agreed to share a taxi and paid her portion of the fare.
The court heard that Okoronta then persuaded the teenager to enter his flat under false pretences, locked the door, and committed sexual offences against her.
He has now been sentenced to 10 years in prison and will face deportation after his release.
